Principals

System 27’s principals are Joseph Hudetz and Andrew Glassford.  

Joseph Hudetz 

System 27 was founded by President Jospeh Hudetz, who holds a BS in Finance from Northern Illinois University, a CPA from University of Illinois, and JD from Kent Law School in Chicago.  Prior to starting System 27 Corporation, Joe was CFO and Legal Counsel for Solar Press, and helped guide the company from $2 million to $60 million in annual revenue, and employee growth from 25 to 600, making them one of the largest employers in Naperville. Besides handling the legal and financial requirements of the company, he managed the development and construction of 3 new plants in the United States and Belgium.  Joe is very active in the Naperville Area, including having served on the Mayor's Advisory Commission on Persons with Disabilities, Century Walk Commission, and currently the Wheatland Township Board of Commissioners.  In 2008, Joe was recognized with an "Excellence in Business" award from the Illinois State Crime Commission. 

Andrew Glassford

Drew has over 26 years of development and construction project management experience, including the completion of more than 2 million square feet of retail and 25 multi-unit hospitality and residential facilities (over 2000 units total) in the United States and Canada.

He has extensive knowledge, skills and experience in group management and staff development, budget generation, value engineering, site discovery and due diligence, entitlements and permitting, consultant and general contract negotiation and structure, construction methods and design selection for cost-effective and timely completion of projects.

He has proven effectiveness on projects ranging from $.5 million to $150 million. His retail experience includes the successful completion of projects for Costco, Lowes, Sears, Car Max, Home Depot, Toys R Us, Babies R Us, and Walgreens.

His hospitality and residential projects have included facilities for Comfort Suites, Extended Stay of America, Suburban Lodge, The British Home, Sunrise Assisted Living, Hispanic Housing Development Corporation, Peace Memorial Village, Provena Health Systems, Contrende Corporation, and Metropolitan Development.

He has provided extensive consulting services for national lifestyle center projects with Urban Retail. Drew also provided consulting services to Our Saviours Lutheran Church Naperville, where he is a congregation member and member of the Building Commitee.

Drew is currently serving on the Board of Directors, the Audit Committee and the Emerging Strategies Committee of The British Home, a 15 acre retirement community located in Brookfield, Illinois, which includes independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing care for seniors.
